Taxi or bus to Universal

we are going to be staying at Caribbean Beach Resort on Disney, but plan to do a universal day trip. Is it easy to get a bus or is a taxi best? There are 3 of us.

Uber/Lyft are by far the cheapest way.

In the same position as the original poster, me and my parents will be staying at CBR in a few weeks time and looking to go to Universal one day. Everything I've read is pointing me to use Uber. Do you know if they will pick you up from outside your actual block, or do you need to go elsewhere?

They picked us up from outside our building, the app uses GPS so knows exactly where you are, and you can see where the driver is too.
