I can't be any worse than that tarzan show...

On the contrary, I thought Tarzan was a very good and enjoyable show, I could think of shows being done worse, it won't be easy to beat.

oh man seriously? That sounds really neat I hope that spot will be left there after the construction is finished.

Thanks for the update!

Bummer you couldn't get on it yesterday, I got to the park at about 4:45 and went right back to Everest. It was up and running fine when we got on.

I'm not sure where I read this but I think it was on Disney's official site. Anyway, it said that Tarzan was not being replaced just refurbished for about 3 or 4 months. Now, I seriously doubt this given the amount of work being done on the theater and confermations I have gotten about the Nemo show. Still, why would Disney say something was under refurbishment when it isn't? Then again, they've done it before. (*cough* Horizons, Rocket Rods *cough*)

Disney never said Tarzan would be reopening. What you are most likely talking about is that on the calender at the Disney web site they show the show closed for refurbishment through the next four months but not beyond that. Don't read too much (or at all) into that.

As much as I hated the idea of the Finding Nemo show for a LONG long time. (since the rumor came about)...I am starting to warm up to it. I just love progress so much, and it excites me to see all of this happening. I am also into theatre (music theatre especially), and since this is supposed to be full of special effects...it sounds great. I still have problems with it being in dino-land though.

Exactly.

I feel the same way about this. Seems like there's potential... But why Dino-land?

Fish have scales, Dinosaurs kidna look like they have scales.... It makes perfect sense, just like how Tarzan fit into the Dinoland area...

Maybe, instead of doing a Nemo show, they'll go with a new show that actually fits the land!

I'm picturing Dinosaurs: The Musical! They are releasing Season One on DVD soon.

I thought this was going to be a monsters inc show? They already have Nemo at Epcot. Wouldn't monsters fit better next door to the yeti?

...Tarzan didn't fit either. It was a decent show, but in no way fit into its surroundings.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... No matter how good of a show they put in there, I won't be entirely happy until A.) A dino-themed show moves in, or B.) The theater is demolished, and the space is used for a better-fitting addition.

How would a Nemo show fit? Well, in this show nemo realizes his small fin is slowly turning into ... a foot. Soon, from the Primortial Dinosaur ooze comes the fish which sprouts a leg! Next thing you know, he's heading out of the water. It's Darwin, the musical!
