Anyone been to target lately, check out the Halloween decor?

Hmmm, talking busts, a fortune teller's head floating in a crystal ball, a very familiar looking pirate's portrait? Gee, where have i see all this before.....

Ha, well, it might not be the most original Halloween decorations ever, but if you're looking to do up your house like your favorite mansion on the cheap, they have you covered.

I wonder how hard it would be to swap the face mask on that crystal ball and hack the computer with a new sound and animation routine, its probably burned onto an eprom.........

The pirate pic is everywhere this year. As is the talking head. The pirate does wear the "Jack Hat". (Not to be confused with the "Jack Sack")

Thanks for the link, pretty cool stuff! I may have to get the fortune teller head so that she can tell me my fortune. Wait.... I am getting a vision ..... I see a big purchase in my future ..... and a very angry husband when he gets the credit card bill ....

Now that's scary!

These are around everywhere not just at target.
Yeah... i'm realizing that now. Target is pretty much the only department store i shop at, so i wouldn't have seen them otherwise (i haven't popped in to the seasonal Halloween store at the mall yet).

On one hand, i think it would cool be if Disney themselves put out official Mdm Leota crystal balls, and singing busts or changing portraits (like they're doing with the HHG big-figs), but on the other hand, i think that they would lessen the specialness of the original effects.
