Hi!!!!!!! I'm a HUGE Tapestry fangirl!!! I love to hear people's stories and memories from watching this amazing parade! So what are your memories from it?

Mine is, when I was 4 years old in 2002, I got to see the parade. I wasn't that much of a parade person then, but I liked the music and I fell in love with the Diskman puppet. (I liked his dreadlocks). I called him Noodle Man because I thought his hair looked like noodles. Then after we came home, every time we passed a car dealership place, I saw one of those inflatable noodle things, and thought of Diskman. I kept listening to the music through the years, but not remembering where it came from. When I went in 2010, we were eating at the restaurant in the UK pavilion waiting for Illuminations, when suddenly, I heard the music barely playing. I paused and tried listening to it, then got my mom's attention and said, "Hey, that's from that parade that used to be here!" I never knew the name of the parade, until in 2011 when I was in the gift shop at the American pavilion, and saw the CD. When I saw it, I gasped and just stood there, because the CD had a picture of Diskman on it, and I recognized the parade. I realized it was called Tapestry of Dreams. When I got home, I listened to the CD, but thought it sounded dumb because of the kids saying "I dream of riding on a dinosaur!" etc. Then I found a video of the parade on Yotube, and realized how amazing it was. Then I got addicted. I watched every video I could find and I discovered the Tapestry of Nations version music, so I downloaded that and the Dreams version music. Now I listen to Tapestry music every day, and whenever I do, I feel like dancing. It's just so beautiful!

We la, oh we la we la..... :p

So what are your parade memories?

Standing along the walkway by China, watching the phenomenal procession. Then a puppet and rotating drum stopped directly in front of us momentarily allowing us to get great photos. My son who was young, was in total awe of the music, the parade and the displays, then one of the puppets leaned/reached down slightly towards him to wave hi.

I still remember my first time watching the parade. We were sitting in Germany and I was expecting to wait a few minutes for the parade to finally arive. The lights came on and the torches lit. Right theyre I was exited the right in front of me the doors opened. I was even mopre exited because I never saw the parade right at the start before. I really got into the parade and just as I thought it was almost over it cane thru all over again. Of course I just thought the parade made one big loup arround the World Showcase.
