My wife and I love the parade! Ture, it isn't your usual-run-of-the-mill stuff, but that's good.
I can see it now ... a not-to-cool-not-to-warm star-filled-sky night ... sitting on a bench next to Japan, overlooking WSL ... the TOD music ... the Dreamseekers waving at me ...
December 17th isn't coming fast enough!!!

I like Tapestry of Nations much better. This seems like just a quickly thrown together remix of TON. Same props and puppets, just with worse music and all jumbled together. Decent show for first time goers, but people like me that has been for the past 3 years knows it's not worth getting out of line for.

Oh and Ntn_haqqr...thanks for posting those...good to see some old friends in those pics. One thing I will say...I HATE Tap during the day! The only thing that parade had going for it in my mind was the pretty lights and evening atmosphere.

Well, it was 6:45pm when the parade started and because it's still broad daylight at that hour in Orlando, FL, the procession doesn't get its glamour and glory as it usually does at night. However, if you see Tapestry Of Dreams at 6:45pm during December or January, thats a totally different story because then, its darker outside (actually, you're getting into late-twilight), but if you catch the 7:30pm show during the winter months, you'll be in complete darkness.
And, this time around was the first time I've seen Tapestry Of Dreams in a few months because for awhile there, I kept saying, "If I hear that annoying Tapestry Of Nations/Dreams" song again, I'm going to flip." So, I did continue going to disney, but I was off Epcot property 15 mins before the parade started and didn't really bother coming back for Illuminations as I was pretty much tuckered out for the day.

Yeah...winter time is always better.
Now, it wasn't all Tap's fault either...Shockwave forced Tapestry to adjust its schedule as well...so I cant totally blame little TOD.
