Tapestry of Dreams Parade

Yesterday, I was watching the short promo video for the Tapestry of Dreams Parade. I wanted to get a little taste of what the new score was. However, when the clip started playing, all I heard was bits from Tapestry of Nations.

Now, if memory serves me correct, I read either here, on wdwmagic.com, or Disney.com that Tapestry of Dreams was to be a brand new parade, featuring an extravagent new musical score special for the celebration. Now, unless Disney isn't doing a preview of the music, it seems to me that the Tapestry of Nations music is going to be recycled, which I hope is not the case.

Can you guys please shed some light on my confusion? Thanks!

As far as I know the soundtrack is remaining as it has been with Tapestry of Nations - with no changes apart from some of the dialog.

The other 3 new parades will have new scores.

Then I am not missing too much... I love the music, and I hope this new parade is not too long aka boring... I don´t know if it was me because I saw it everyday, but I think Tapestry was "too much of the same" and in a slow pace... (please don´t hit me Sillyspook! )

What are the other three parades? Where?

I've also noticed the old music used in the videos. I know for a fact that the music is somewhat different, but I won't know for sure until tomorrow.

Silly, can we trust you to file a complete Tapestry report tomorrow night, then?

I have to admit--I've only seen bits of Tapestry of Nations--it was just too long for me to stay in one place and watch... I was hungry...

Welll one of my fellow servants at the Haunted Mansion transfered over into Tap while I left being a butler for Characters...sooooooo....I can give you the scoop from her.

As far as the music goes, it is the old tap music with new things added in and some parts of the old music cut out. Kinda just "woven" together.

The new costumes are BRIGHT and oh man...kinda scary

If you guys ask MKTiggerman...he has all the pics on his web site and was at one of the premieres.

Err... Yeah..... I guess....

Aaawwee.... The new costumes aren't that bad. At least they don't weigh 90 pounds (no joke) like the Sage cosume did. And 3 1/2 foot stilts? Now THAT'S scary.

My mom made a very dirty comment about the "instrument" that was added to Aztec.....

And yes, I've seen MKTiggerman's photos. They are so cute!!!! He was across the street from me and more in front of Germany. (I was across from the gate)

no it isn't......

I've been disney stilt trained since this January, and for a special event I wore a sage-like (they called it future stiltwalker, it's the exact same costume as the sage, but w/ different makeup and a few minor alterations to make it look futuristic) costume w/ 3 1/2 bigfoot stilts for an hour at a time, to no difficulty. I guess you just have to pace yourself..
