Honestly, while I would like some kind of explanation for the long blonde hair, I'm not going to be upset if they just skip it. I doubt my Tangled-obsessed niece (who will be 5 when the show premieres) will be hung up on the hair issue and not enjoy the show.

Yes she did have blonde hair in her Sofia appearance. But I'm hoping for the blonde locks too, and if the concept art is anything to go by she will. Rapunzel is my favourite princess so I'm happy - its best announcement outside of Tangled 2 going into production.

After the film but before tangled ever after it makes no sense no matter how you dice it lol. She lost her magic hair at the end of the movie but somehow gets it back before tangled ever after (the short where her magic hair was also gone) and then somehow loses it again 3 years later.
