I still packing. I think I am packing my whole house.
How far away do you go for Thanksgiving, Susie?
Hi, btw
Busy.
A mind-boggling busy week ahead.
So much to do.
How was your weekend?
Good, except that I have a full-fledged cold and am totally congested. :brick: It's been busy. We went and registered yesterday. At Bed Bath & Beyond. It was fun but it took FOREVER!!!
Today we relaxed and we just got out our Christmas boxes & assembled the tree. We will decorate it Friday or next weekend. We have to have the tree up for a few days prior to decorating so the cats can "get used to it"...so we don't lose any ornaments.

Yay...for Richard Gere!
Not much of a Julia fan.
Except in Notting Hill.
I love this movie. This is the movie I would always watch through HS & college whenever I was sad or got my heart broken. My Gma would call, hear it in the background, & automatically know something was up. :o

Is something up?

Which reminds me of a conversation I had today. We were talking about Charlie Brown and someone told me about a Peanuts comic in which Linus asked CB what a broken heart feels like. CB answered "It's that feeling your heart gets when you turn over in bed and its jagged edges poke you."

Perfect!

Awww I like that!

 Nope, nothing's up this time. It just happens to be on TV. You know, I don't even own it anymore. I the tape actually broke right around the time we lost Grandma, oddly enough. :(
Hmmm...my Mom's been asking for Christmas ideas, maybe I'll give her that as an idea. :xmas:

Time for a DVD copy!

Dot, Connor, are either of you traveling anywhere for the holiday?

Not us! I always make Thanksgiving dinner. Just us the girls and their guys and this year we're asking a friend who doesn't have family in the area.

That's really nice of you! :) Do you do all of the cooking, or is everyone responisble for bringing something?
I think I decided to buy a pie. :o BUT I am making my famous (yes, I have a famous cooked item) stuffed mushrooms and puppy chow (the snack, not the dog food). Ever have that?? It's so delicious!! :slurp:
*sigh*
I know that, Dumbo.
But it sounds gang-ish to me.
Your right, it kinda does.
I will likely migrate down to the dinning room.
Be sure to take a sweater.

I make everything. Lauren brings a couple of extra desserts. Stacey brings all the soda, ice tea etc. and our friend, if he does come, will bring some wine.
