The contractor wanted more money than Disney was willing to pay, so he is no longer there. It was not run by a Disney CM.

Well actually there IS still a "talking trash can" in Epcot's Electric Umbrella. It doesn't move around or anything but just says prerecorded phrases when you dump trash in it.

PUSH was always fun to run into. You tube has tons of videos of him Here's one:

I ran into PUSH many times. I think my favorite time was when I was just stainfing on the bridge between Tomorrowland and the Hub, and PUSH comes cruising by, and just out of nowhere says "Man, this is like walking down the Green Mile". Totally unprovoked, out of context, and probaly not something the powers at WDW would condone.

Push was the highlight of my trip in 1997. My grandpa still talks about it. To this day I buy him Tomorrowland trash can gifts (ornament, salt shaker, etc.) for Christmas.
