Its definitely a pre rendered recording in the first video not a live interactive actor.
he says the same stuff in this video at the very beginning.

in this video he does more "Games" to kinda distract you from the fact that you can't really interact with him

Oh yeah, I see what you mean that is kind of a let down. They should just stick with silent Mickey, whole appear of Mickey Mouse as a character is his sincerity, and that he's always trying to do the right thing no matter what.

"Turtle Talk" works with prerecorded jokes because Crush is kind of a one note character, no matter what you ask Crush you expect him to respond in some nonchalant, "surfer dude" manner. You need to feel like Mickey Mouse cares because that's his personality

Personally, I don't want to find myself in a situation where I have to make conversation with Mickey Mouse.
That's not going to give me nightmares at all. No way.

That's what I was thinking. The peter pan thing seems like a complete non sequitur at first. Like he blew a fuse.

How does he trigger the phrases? Push buttons with his tongue? Or is a handler controlling him. That could make for some wacky situations.
I am guessing someone can see the guest than triggers phrases, someone outta sight.

Yeah if the current trend continues with testing Mickey should be talking on a couple of the Not so scary Halloween party nights

Oh I do hope they decide the scripted Mickey is just awful. He's so wooden and slightly rude to be cutting people off.
I'm sure they can spend the extra few $$$$ to get the response that the second video gives, every time. Her face is just priceless when he says her name. I think I would look like that too.
