Talking Mickey Mouse set to debut in Disney show...

I saw a demo of that, and it's remarkably effective. But I think what would be more effective is if the Living Character Initiative created a Mickey Mouse AA that's more his actual (purported) size, say around 2 and a half or 3 feet tall. I remember seeing The Mickey Mouse Revue, and how cool it was to see Mickey talk and move and yet NOT be a guy in a suit. Imagine seeing him driving around Fantasyland in a cartoony-looking car, with maybe Minnie, Donald and Goofy with him, and interacting with guests. If LCI could use their tech on the Muppets, they could certainly use it on actual Disney characters. That would be plussing the Disney experience in a major way. And it'd be one heck of a photo op for guests!

that would be awesome! But I'd worry about the potential job loss. Why would Disney hire actors to play Mickey when they can have a robot do it? On the other hand, if that robot is going to be interacting with guest it IS going to need a voice...
But they couldn't come up with a less annoying show? REALLY?
I also find it curious how they're doing this urban hip hop look and yet there isn't a single black guy on that stage.

What a terrible way to debut the new Mickey. Mickey wasn't meant to be hip and with all the progress DCA has made, this awful show just pushes it a couple of steps backwards. Down with Mickey's Dance Crew. (Sorry to the talented cast that has to perform this abomination multiple times daily.)
