Taking my grandmother on her first trip to Disney World!!!!

In my previous post i mentioned on taking a trip with my 2 sisters and have recently decided to bring our grandmother along. She is a huge Disney fan just like me, I think shes actually the reason I am such a big fan. It feels only right to take her along with us as she's mentioned several times in the past wanting to go but feels she wouldn't be able to afford it. I'm super excited to get to surprise her with a trip!!:inlove: It probably wont be for about another 1.5-2 years but I'm just so excited to start planning. I'm planing on going either in the spring or fall so that it won't be to hot, as she has epilepsy and I don't want her to potentially have a seizure by putting to much stress on her body. I'm also planning on renting an EVC scooter, because shes had surgery on her hip which makes it harder for her to walk around to much. I'm not worried about her not being able to keep up because shes used to going on trips with my grandfather where they're out of the hotel from 8 am -8 pm with no breaks except for lunch. Even if she does need more breaks than usual its not a big deal as I don't expect her to be able to tour at a super fast pace anyways. My main concern is the rides and shows because flashing lights can cause her to have a seizure. Are there any rides or shows we should be cautious about? I want to make sure she has a fun but SAFE trip.
Sorry for the long post and thanks for any recommendations :)

While she should be able to enjoy most attractions the risk of accidentally triggering a seizure warrants checking things out in advance. I suggest that you contact WDW's Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 and discuss it with them. You can be sure this will not be the first time they have encountered this issue, and I would think they would have the information you need.
Have a fun trip!
