First off I just want to say...

i'M GOING TO WDW!! Now that that is off my chest let's continue. I'm bringing my school friend with me who hasn't been since she was really little and probably won't remember anything and we are staying at Carribean beach. What are some thing that would be fun to do and what should I makesure to show her other than the rides? I was thinking we could see how many autographs we could get, but I'm not sure of restaurants and things like that that would A) Be nice to teenagers and B) Would easily let us split things(she eats like a bird). I'm so excited though any feedback would be great! :sohappy:

Sounds like a great trip...may I suggest a planning book. We like Birnbaum's, but there are plenty out there.

Go thru the book together. Make a list of Must see, want to see, etc. Make a list of places you want to eat & get the PS made ahead of time. List shows & parades you want to attend. Restaurants are very friendly to all & we never had trouble splitting entrees...maybe buffets might help you.

Remember you can't do it all no matter how hard you try. Since this is her first trip in a very long time try to let her call the shots.

A few years ago we went with another family (by DH's brother)...the kids had never been and my BIL & SIL hadn't been since they were kids. We let them make most of the choices & we had a great time. We didn't get to do all that we usually do, but hey thats what return trips are for.

Collecting autographs is great fun, but don't forget to get pictures, too. A scrapbook made after the trip will be great to help you remember the trip.

Have Fun!!

I was very close to bringing a friend this year, but it didn't fall through.

What I was planning on doing was doing a park in the morning/early afternoon. Then we would come back to hang out by the pool for a while, then go back to a park until closing. After that, it would be all about Downtown Disney for the rest of the night, mainly the House of Blues and DisneyQuest.

Having a friend with you will make it way more fun, and the best thing about WDW is that there is always something to do.

i brought my friend in october and we took pictures with every crazy freaky deaky hat we could find and honestly WDW sells some crazy hats. My recomedation is take lots of pictures and have something fun to them all (example. Take like a troll doll and make sure it is in everyone of your pictures)

Having my friend was soooooo much fun and it was never hard to have a good time. :)

My first post gang!

I took a friend when we graduated from highschool in 2001. He had never been to Disney World so like you I wanted to entertain him on some neat little perks of the world. A great restaurant to go to is chef mickey's great atmosphere swinging napkins characters singing, but its a buffet so may not be best for a small eater but keep it in mind
