Take home Coffee at Kona??

We stayed at the Poly in January and I tried to buy some Kona coffee to bring home and they told me in the gift shop that they don't sell it by the bag. I was very disappointed. I just assumed that they would have some for sale.
They don't sell it at the gift shop, but they do sell bags at Kona (at a table or at the podium), and at the Coffee shop next door.
The blend is about $15, and the 100% is really expensive, I believe somewhere in the $40 range. The bags are standard size that you would normally get in a store.
You can find Kona blends (typically 10% kona beans) almost anywhere. The cost will be between $8-$15 per pound. For 100% kona online is your easiest option. You can find it online for about $30-$40 frequently with free shipping.

I believe we paid $40 for a bag of 100% Kona at Kona Cafe and that was for only a 12oz bag.
You're best bet, if you like the stuff, is to join a Kona coffee bag a month club on the internet. Just google Kona Coffee and you'll find plenty of places in Hawaii that want to sell you the stuff. Still, it's not cheap and the shipping costs can be pretty high. I think we're now paying close to 48 dollars a month to have a pound of 100% Kona coffee delivered once a month. We're addicted to the stuff but once it hits $50 we've decided we will be through with Kona.
