Tables in Wonderland

Has anyone heard when the Tables in Wonderland program will become available to DVC members? I had read where it was announced at the annual meeting that DVC members would be able to purchase the cards, even without an annual pass.

I called member services the other day and the the person I spoke to did not have any information about when the program would be available to us.

Did they mention the cost of the card for DVC members?

Do you know if you want separate checks at a dinner will they take the discount off of both checks if you have the TIW card or does everything have to be on the same check. We are going with my brother in law and his family and we will have a group of 7. Typically we put 4 on one check and 3 on the other. Will that work?

Is there a listing anywhere of places that accept the card on property?

I am pretty sure it is single check only.

I remember reading that somwhere in the past, but I have not seen any information on it recently.

I concur with Dave. If I remember correctly, you can cover up to 9 people with your TiW card, but it all has to be on one check.

If you only have one TiW card within the party, then everyone has to be on one check to apply the discount to all. If others in your party are paying separately, they do not get the discount. Up to 10 people can be covered with one card.

Any idea when it might become available to DVC members? Any idea about the cost of the card? I had thought I heard somewhere around $75 -100. With a 20% discount on everyone's meals for a week you will cover the initial cost pretty quickly. Sounds like a great value.

$100 is the normal cost, $75 if you have an AP, because an AP already includes some restaurant discounts. I imagine DVC will be $100.

Virtually all table service restaurants accept, but not all. Virtually no counter-service accept, except for counter-service places in hotels that have no table-service option (All-Stars, POFQ).

Not as if you are going to foot the bill for it, but V&A takes TIW, but V&A Chef's Table does not.

Sometimes there are restaurants at the Swan or Dolphin where they may not accept TIW but they will take DVC. There I think the issue is more that the server isnt aware of the various discount programs

The following should be included at the Swan and Dolphin:

Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort – Il Mulino New York Trattoria, Kimonos, Shula's Steak House, Todd English's bluezoo, Garden Grove

I am going in March and would like to know when this perk will be available to DVC members. It will save me from having to buy an AP.

Price is $100 though, so if you have an AP, make sure you use it to get the cheaper rate!

I have read of several people that bought TiW with only a DVC card and the price was $100.

Do you really expect DVC to make a timely announcement about something?
