I need some opinions. We have three trips booked (April&June 7days, and August 10days) the first two will be just 2 adults the last is with my family (6 adults). We have the dinning plan for all because it works for us however I'm thinking about getting the TIW card because we like our alcohol lol. We have a drink with every dinner and sometimes spend time in the lounges of our hotels. Do you think it will be worth it? What's making me question is the fact that you can't use it to drink around the world/at the resort pools. Two of the trips we will be staying at the beach club so we spend a lot of time in world showcase. Thoughts?

You would need to spend $500 in alcohol to break even. Do the math and see if you'll spend more than that. If you all drink with dinner and also at the lounges, it might be worth it.

You also get free valet when using it at the resorts. That would add a $15 value each day you used it. If that is something you would have a use for.

You have a total of 88 days of one adult's drinks (7x2x2 and 10x6), if each of you were to drink $5.87 worth of alcohol per day, you'd be at the break-even point. You can use the TiW card at TS locations and Resort bars [not sure about pool bars, but I've used it at indoor bars all over property]. I'm guessing you'd probably drink at least that. You can also apply the discount to any OOP surcharges for stuff that isn't included in the Dining Plans.

Can't use it at pool bars, but you can use it at the food courts at the values which I believe includes purchasing alcohol there.
