Hey everybody!! Yesterdy, I went to the World, and for the first time, went park hopping!!! Yeah, it was first time. Here I am writing, and my legs are killing me, but anyway. Yesterday, I went to both MGM and Epcot, primarily Epcot. I went along with some of my Dad's friends that came from Puerto Rico, that are doing a play here in Orlando, starring Angela Mayer (very famous Puerto Rican actress), and written by Myrna Casas (She wote the play she is currently in). There were real nice people, but.....they did one thing that I absolutely hate....

When we were in Epcot, the first thing we did, was to go to the Japan store right after World Showcase opened (we arrived there at 10). And so, not knowing any of the people that came with us, I just followed along like a tail to a dog, counting down the minutes to when we were going to eat at my favorite restaurant, Le Cellier in Canada. We spent an hour and half in the Japan store!!!! :brick: :fork: From there, we went from store to store in each of the countries, and that drove me much, because the only shopping stores I like is for books, and video games, and entertainment centers. In other words, the only thing I did today was go shopping, and only doing 1 ride, and and watching both Illuminations and Fantasmic. Rest was shopping. Thankfully, I had the patience to handle the situation and keep my mouth shut for the rest of the time :zipit: . And so, with that, I begin my updates:

- When we drove over to Epcot, I noticed the Stunt Show stadium form the road, and on the back of the stadium, was giant posters (think the Virgin CD posters), and it had two of Stunt Show, with the words "Lights, Motors, Action!",in blue in a white background, with the signature red car going through the middle, and the Odometer next to the letters, and the rest were posters for "National Treasure", and, even though I'm not sure about this, the other two posters looked as though it came from "Lost".

- At both Epcot and MGM, most Christmas decor are up, and with the exceptions at MGM, not all of the freaky glowing Santas on the post lamps are not up yet (those things freak me out).

- At Epcot, the Christmas archway is up, as well as the Christmas tree.

- At Epcot, lots of the stores this year has Christmas decor.

- TT was not running when I got there at 10 AM, but was working later.

- I have to give kudos to Friendship IV boat captains, Benjamin and Gynn, who were very funny on the way back from MGM to Epcot.

- I don't know why, but there was TONS of couples here at WDW, anywhere, in both MGM, and Epcot. I don't know, maybe the guy upstairs wanted to rub in the fact that I stink at relationships, and something happened the other day that got out, and just destroyed me entirely, but I hate when this happens. If you more info on that, just ask me, or think about "The Phantom of the Opera", and you'll figure it out.

- Soarin' is clearly visible from almost all points in World Showcase, but for some reason, in some view points, Canada's Chateau covers it, while in some it doesn't.

- At MGM, Fantasmic was great. I actually sat in the 5th row, which, I must say it was great sitting there in the center and having that great view is absoluetly surround. It makes you be immersed in the whole show. Except if it is a windy day, don't sit, unless you want to get wet by the water screens, and get very hot by the water fire.

- Fantasmic's food stand in the back, stinks at food. Their chicken wrap doesn't have much chicken, when they call it a chicken wrap, and the pretel's are too salty in the dough, and not the outside, and how does cheese and pretzels make a good combination? :veryconfu

- At one point, someone in the group makes a funny comment saying that since Mickey celebrated his 75th birthday the other day, that Mickey should start a Mickey Mouse Club for seniors since he's old.

Overall, today was good...except I never went to Le Cellier!!!  I never had my beloved soup yesterday!! But oh well...my Mom and Dad said that he good behavior I had, he might have a word with the chefs to cook me up some Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup for me later, or to go to Le Cellier later. :slurp:

I took some pics, but I don't where to post them. I can't post pics here on WDWmagic because of the subscription. Does anyone know any good frees sites to post pics on? Thanks.

Well, that's all for now! Hope you like it!

The only ride I went on during the day was Test Track. At least I have someone else on here that hates shopping as well.

PS- How do I shrink pictures?

No. This has been decided before. Park updates which give information that things have changed, are welcome in the news & rumours section (hence ISTCrew20's updates are here also). Trip Reports ("yay, I had a nice time") go in trip reports.

;)

Heading for the great escape.
But clearly this post talks about food stuffs shouldnt that be under a culinery forum. And what constitutes news, the fact that I may have had a burger may be news but its not going to influence ride flows and closures, well it may do if i hurl on ToT after eating it. :dazzle: :hurl:

Sorry to hear about your shopping desaster, but it could be worse:
"I went to EPCOT and the only ride I rode was El Rio Del Tiempo"
See, it could be worse...

I love cheese and pretzels! YUMMY!

Yeah, after I got a chicken wrap from the food stands, the people in front of me had a pretzel and dipping in cheese, and since I'm a cheese maniac, after I saw that, I wanted to get the pretzels. Oh well. But I thought cheese and pretzels were an unusual combination, as I have seen people eat pretzels with mustard, like me, but not with cheese.

s25843- Thank you SOOOO much for that! :sohappy: That will become quite handy for later updates.

I will be posting my photos soon, and I will post when they are ready.
