T-Rex or Rainforest?

How about noise level? Not that either one of these places is going to be a quiet, hand holding, candlelit dinner, but is Rainforest any quieter/more relaxing than T-Rex? I was stuck on trying T-Rex, but now I'm thinking about changing over to Rainforest and can't make up my mind.
Noise level, I think Trex is a bit quieter. Where Rainforest has its regular thunder storms and the animals go crazy, Trex has is regular meteor showers where the dinos react. I dont recall the Trex being any more noisier, and am thinking its a bit quieter than Rainforest.

I've got to go with Rainforest Cafe. I thought the food was better and enjoyed the theming more at RC. I will say that I have only been to a T-Rex once and it was not the one ot Downtown Disney. So maybe there could be a difference there. My cousin and his family went to the T-Rex at Downtown Disney and he said he didn't like it because the animatronics were pretty loud and it made the atmosphere annoying to him. He said that the kids loved it though.

Well been at both.The noise this year at Rexy was unbelievable but didn't put me off my diner.We were in the Ice Blue cave and enjoyed the food & cocktails.Rainforest we also enjoy.It's fun and that's a part of the disney magic.

I suggest you have a look at the menus and see which you prefer, they are fairly similar but I love the pastalaya at RFC. The decor at T-Rex is probably better but we found it uncomfortably cold in there, our food went cold before we had eaten it. Both can be loud, that's down to luck. I prefer RFC theming but if your children like dinosaurs T-Rex would be good.

I just hit up the bar! Now I know that t-Rex will be my new bar because they have waffle fries! Rainforest last year had none!!!

They are both moderately loud, with periodic burst of extreme noise and stuff moving around. I don't know how often it happens...every 20 minutes is my guess, but I never timed it.

I saw that u mentioned that.. My mom and I just sit at the bar have fries and a beer for a snack with ketchup then continue our walk. If the hockey games on I usually ask them to put it onto a Canadian team since I'm from Montreal.

I used to live in La Salle Montreal,love Canadian beer,but I found these waffle fries woeful.But hey! Everyone to their own taste.

No I emigrated from Scotland with my best buddy,he's still somewhere in Montreal,lost contact with him years ago.Anyway after just over a year I got homesick and the pipes were calling me home so I returned to Scotland.
