SWW Tips

I'm actually considering heading into the parks for a full Star Wars Weekend experience in June.

I see that Billy Dee Williams will be there and my BF and I have a running argument over whether he's a good guy or a bad guy. He says good guy, I say bad guy. If I came home with a photo and autograph it would go over very well in my house.

So I'm thinking that I need to be at the park super early for a signing FastPass. Would you say 6:00am would be good or earlier? I assume I would have to taxi it from my resort since busses probably aren't running at that time. I've been to SWW but never tried to get involved in all the hoopla.

If anyone wants to explain the process on getting the FPs and autographs (where and when everything happens) that would be fantastic.

Also since I want some great photos this trip, other than the parade what SWW activities or locations do you think I should seek out for some great photos?

Any additional tips for navigating through the crowds and taking in all the excitement would be appreciated. I will be doing this solo which is a plus so it should be easy (well easier) for me to get around rather than trying to lead a family through the chaos.

Thanks!

No for him it's more like 2 or 3am!

I kind of wondered that. I'm not as interested in the stars from the Clone Wars and figured it might be an all nighter but I'm just not sure that I want to do that given that I have limited time to be there on my own before my conference starts.

Would I be right in assuming he would be in the parade as well? I'd be happy enough getting a photo of him. I'm not sure if I want my entire day to revolve around him.

Yes Ma'am, he will definitely be in the Star Wars parade earlier in the day, not the regular one. The stars usually are driven in convertible vehicles so they are very easy to get photos of. Also keep an eye on the schedule for the day as he may be talking about his experiences in a showor three throughout the day. The lines for these events are pretty long as they are incredibly popular!!! It may take more than one day over the weekend to hit everything you want to do!!! Hope this is helpful!!! Marie
