Switching to discount offer

If you have an existing room reservation, then take advantage of a discount when it becomes available, does this in anyway affect your adrs since technically it's a new reservation?

Not at all!! I have always booked a trip, booked ADRs and added a discount as it came out. Not to mention your reservation number does not change. In reality they just "modified" your reservation. Which you can actually modify something's online, not add a discount but other items you can handle writhing the online system.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Room reservations are not tied to dining reservations at all. The only way they are connected is to see if your staying onsite to use the 180+10 perk. Once the dining reservations are made you canceling or changing a room reservation will not affect your dining at all. :)
