Switched from Art of Animation to Coronado Springs

Wife and I are heading there for a few days in mid Feb. Got an email saying the pool was going to be refurbed at AoA. Chose Coronado over CB. What's the good and bad of CS? Is the new tower more pricey than the older rooms? I watched some video's and it looked nice. Hoping park hours are extended and go back to having Magic hours by then. If not what is there to do at night in CS?
