Well?
And are they official WDW hotels?

They are not Disney hotels. They do participate in EMH, but that is about it.
Correct. Their location is pretty awesome as well, but like you stated, they do not have much of a Disney feel to them. That is no big deal for most, but it is a slight bit off putting for a pixie dust snorter like myself. The real extra is S&D utilize Disney Transportation on property. But not DME.
Possibly. There is absolutely nothing wrong with S&D, they just don't feel "Disney" to me. However, many have the opposite opinion. I know @wdwmagic loves them.So Coronado Springs king-bed room would be better suited for me and my girlfriend? Planning on proposing while down there...

First and foremost, you will need to know if staying there is really an option. If you need DME or the DDP then S&D are off the table already.
They do feel great, but what killed me is they are double beds and not queens. You are right. I love them. But the rooms and buildings do not scream resort or Disney by any means. Their beds are to die for. I'd like to wrap one up and take it home with me and some of views are spectacular.
They are doubles in the Dolphin, but queens in the Swan. They do feel great, but what killed me is they are double beds and not queens.
Then Swan all the way! They are doubles in the Dolphin, but queens in the Swan.
Cuz dolphins are skinner than swans? Then Swan all the way!
Any idea why they are different between the two?
