Hi All! Just got exciting news! We are going to FL for New Years! I might get to squeeze in a visit to SW. We went last November. Is there anything NEW that I NEED to see? Thanks for any advice!

Sorry, most likely not. However, the park might probably will have new owners by then! It could be InBev (most likely not) or it could be several other companies, so that alone might make the trip 100% different than your last!

Have fun on your trip!

Actually, the Parks will remain under ownership of Anheiser-Busch... It won't have new owners even though Anheiser-Busch got sold... only the Beer factory got sold, that doesn't mean that there parks did as well...

This is at least from what I know anyways...

All of Anheuser Busch got sold to Inbev including the parks. However Inbev hasn't yet decided if they're going to keep the parks as is or sell them off. There's discussion that Blackstone is interested in purchasing the parks. Currently Sea World is still in very good hands and running well so I wouldn't go getting rid of passes just because of the sale, good things are still at works there.

The only thing that will probably be "new" to you is that I think the Polar Express show may still be playing on New Years. I'm not certain when that stops, also I think that return 2 zero (the old group from MGM studios) will still be performing then too.

Polar Express runs till Jan 4 but last year they extended it because people loved it so much.

There is a Christmas Shamu show.

There will be a NYE celebration in the park-music/fireworks.

There is a new show in the Nautilus theater- A'lure the Call of the Ocean

I haven't been for a few months so not sure if there is anything else new.

Any more info ??

Haven't seen it yet. All I know is it is 22 minutes and is called Shamu's Christmas Miracles so not the regular Believe Show or Shamu Rocks. It is an evening show just before park closing. I am also not sure if it will be on the schedule after Christmas week. I imagine it is it is sort of a Shamu Rocks type show done with Christmas music.

The Christmas show is great!!! Before the "real show" starts they put Christmas carols on, karaoke style, using the big screens, and everyone joins in. I love it, It's great fun! They also have live performances by a gospel choir and solo singer, and a jazz saxophonist. It's really good! I recommend the holiday season to everyone I know that has a Seaworld pass.

PS Don't sit with your kids in the Splash zone when it's 40, 50, or even 60 degrees out!! That water is super cold!!!! Get to the stadium 30 minutes early or so to make sure your kids ( or you ) don't get pneumonia or hypothermia for goodness sake!

Can't wait to go. Will have to schedule a Christmas outing to SW with all our friends.

Pass holders also get a better discount in the stores right now, too. So don't forget to show your card. Last year I bought some of my gifts there.
