SW Fireworks in the rain

Can't speak to other nights but tonight's was a bust. The show was in the rain. There were no projections and most speakers weren't working. I was told they pretty much have to set off the fireworks in any park because they are already set to go off.

Beyond that, for this show, without the projections the show is completely meaningless. The fireworks are just add ons to what is really a projection show.

Don't get me wrong. I was really looking forward to it. But it illustrates that the show falls flat if impacted by rain and there is no backup plan. At least Wishes and Illuminations still make sense in the rain.

Projection failure sounds more like technical issues than because it was raining.

Technical issues caused by the rain. But regardless, without the projections, you don't have a show. That's the Achilles heel of this thing.

Indeed.

I've seen RoE severely affected by rain, Wishes by wind but neither to this extent.
