Sushi at DW

I was wondering where the best place to get sushi is at Disney World? I have looked at the menus that are online for the restaurants in Japan but they do not seem to have a very wide variety of sushi. Any suggestions?

Haven't ried Puck's but I think the California Grill at the Contemporary hmhas excellent sushi, and a great view, service, and adult libations.

CG has some nice rolls and some solid raw cuts if you like sashimi/nigiri and the like. blueZoo at the Swan & Dolphin also has some unique pieces to try. I would start with those two.

Interesting how no one has even mentioned Japan in Epcot yet. It is the only place I've ever eaten sushi down in the World, and it beats out some of the sushi places here in Manhattan. So that's what I ould recommend.

However, is Wolfgang puck's sushi really good? Are there any interesting specialities there? I am very intrigued about this and may buy a plane ticket to fly down now to eat some top notch sushi.

I'm pretty much looking for any reason to fly to FL right now.

Kimonos at the Swan hotel (Epcot resort area) is supposed to be good. I think I remember being told they were rated best sushi restaurant in Orlando area...

You are right on the money, I LOVE sushi and have tried them all. If you like busy atmosphere and great sushi, WolfGangPuck Sushi bar is the place for you.(Very busy and lots of people). Cali. Grill has great sushi too, If you are there for dinner, it is a great spot. Also tried the sushi @ The Japanese lounge @Epcot which is great. Kimonos has great Sushi and the most varied menu, and is quiet. It is my Favorite spot for sushi/sashimi/tempura.:slurp:

Well thanks for the replies everyone. I am a former Sushi Chef so the variety and quality make a huge difference to me. I could care less if the place is busy or not. My sushi bar used to be so loud that I could hardly hear the customers order.

What he said. I had sushi at the Matsunoma Lounge in Epcot and it was great. Trying to speak Japanese with the wonderful waitresses from Japan is fun, too.
