Survivor: Cook Islands

I think Yul bigger threat was "lover boy", is it Adam?

Adam can win immunity, Johathan can't even walk up the sand without tripping. There is no way anyone would have picked Jonathan to win, so why not keep him for a while.

Now personally, I'm glad Jonathan is gone. He was a little to self assured.
I think it's obvious that Adam is next to go, unless he gets immunity. I don't see them turning their backs on Ozzy like the previews suggest.

Taking Jonathan to the Final Two would have been a smart thing to do, though he might have gotten a few votes on being crafty enough to have made it that far, but now we'll never know.

Okay, so who's going to win it?

Previews say 3 Tribal Councils - will that be two regular evictions then a Final Tribal Council with 3 finalists or a regular eviction/double eviction/Final Tribal Council with 2 finalists? I'm thinking the former. That would leave us with 3 finalists and 9 jury members:

First Tribal Council - The Yul-Becky-Sundra coalition votes out Ozzy, unless he wins immunity. In that case, Adam gets the boot.

Second Tribal Council - Whoever's left between Ozzy and Adam gets their torch snuffed.

Final Tribal Council - Nate and Candice make complete fools of themselves in their jury "questions" due to their childish bitterness at being outplayed. Look for Yul to bear the brunt of their completely wrong "moral outrage".

Votes:
Becky - Candice, Jenny
Sundra - Adam, Nate
Yul - Brad, Jonathan, Ozzy, Parvati, Rebecca.

I dont think That all those people would vote for Yul..I think that they started to get sick of his "better then all.. Im in control" attitude..
It will be interesting though...

I'd like to see Yul get a bunch of votes for his superior game play, and I think he will. However, juries have disappointed me in the past with their petty grudges (see: All-Stars).

You may be right, SpongeScott. It may be impossible to boot Ozzy, because he'll win most any physical challenge. Adam, though, is less likely to become a finalist. The Aitu four know they can't let Adam make the finals, because his former Raro members will most undoubtedly vote for him. This, despite his lack of any strategic or intelligent thought.

Anyone but Adam!

I hope you're right. But all Adam has to do is get hot at the right time, especially if they have a three-person final. Remember when Jenna Morasca won? She won the last two challenges that vaulted her to the finals. You just never know. There still is a major twist left for this season.

It was an intersesting twist, but Becky had no chance of winning.

Next season looks good.
When the girls couldn't even make a fire, I knew that whoever joined the two guys didn't have a chance.

Congrats to Yul--he did play a good game.

Next season looks very interesting.

I loved the fire"making" tiebreaker. The editors must have had a great time putting that together. Even Probst looked bored.

I wonder what the tiebreaker would have been had the final vote been 4-4-1.

I'm glad Yul won. This season marks a rarity in Survivor - I liked all of the final four. I wouldn't have minded any of them winning. Yul played the better game, and thankfully was rewarded for it.

The bitter jury members were unexpectedly Jonathan and Adam.

Next season: two immunity idols, luxury camp vs. lousy camp, most controversial player decision ever? I'm there.

I told my wife last night that this was the best season ever of Survivor for me. The twists in the game, the players, the way the game was played, and the outcome all added up to it being the best. I was also very happy with everyone in the Final Four and would have liked to have seen any of them win.

Ozzy did deserve to win more the Yul...
Yul only stayed because he had the Immunity idol and let it be known to everyone..Ozzy played a better game and deserved it..

Well, you could argue that Ozzy "only" stayed because he won the challenges. Yul used the Immunity Idol to his greatest advantage in the game by revealing that he had it. Instead of keeping it a secret, he was able to use it and manipulate the game around him--his strategy was genius. Adam's counter-strategy of forcing the idol out came too late in the game. Both played a good game--Ozzy is probably the strongest physical competitor to have played the game AND to have made it that far being so strong.

Outwit...Outplay...Outlast

Yul did this, Ozzy really just "outlasted" and perhaps outplayed depending on how you look at it. This really is the first time someone like Ozzy has made it all the way. Usually, tribes resent people like him for actually "surviving." A very good final two. *chooses to ignore the third choice*

I hope they don't offer a third person in the finals again. When they couldn't make fire, Jeff should have stopped the challenge and told them neither of them deserved to be in the finals. :dazzle:

It was funny...and sad.

At that point, they should have either dropped the third person altogether...or let the jury do the fire challenge so someone could come back....now there's a twist.

If you can't start a fire with a match...that's just sad.:brick:
