Im watching too! That was some twist...although I kind of felt badly for Morgan and Drake, because while, yes, the Outcasts were eatting meager food rations, where they sleeping on bamboo exposed to the elements? Did they have to fish or lug water back and forth? They all looked clean and rested, and knew that this twist was coming. So from that perspective, I found it a bit unfair.

Great twist though...cant wait to see who gets voted IN.

Oh, and how about Osten? :veryconfu
I think Jeff was really ed when Osten quit. Notice that there were no parting words by him shown either.

As for the new tribe, yes, they knew they were coming back, but remember that they have been mentally and emotionally down by being voted out and both tribes are giving indication that they will not be welcomed back in. I think they will switch tribes and not go with their original tribe.

T - My pick to win is Tijuana. Seems smart and adaptable.

St - I was never one to worship at the altar of St. Rupert, and his going ballistic over getting a vote in this game makes me like him less. Asking Shawn and Jon to give their reasons why they should stay? Pure Arrogance.

Ost - What can be said about the biggest quitter the game has ever seen. He contributed absolutely nothing to his tribe. However, I didn't see any reason to continue belittling him at Tribal Council. The point was made in the first few minutes, the last few minutes were just humiliating. Still, I despise quitting.

Host - Probst is getting snarkier by the season. While that may not be nice, it makes for good T.V.

Ghost - I don't like the idea that the Ghost tribe "the Outcasts" get to put two people back into the game. Once you've lost, you've lost. Survivor, in my mind, is not a second chance kind of game. Andrew was a bit over the top in his assessment, but I agree with the basic premise that these folks have no business coming back to camp. They were better rested and fed than the other tribes. Not fair.

I don't know who's coming back, but I bet Burton is one of them. The big surprise was intriguing, but it's going to move the game further away from "skill" on the skill/luck continuum. And if one of the Outcasts actually wins, it will be even worse than when Jenna won last season (Least. Deserving. Winner. Ever.).

At least it's still interesting.

Good assessments and I wouldn't argue with anything you said.

I also like Tijuana--you have to fly under the radar screen and she has done that. Andrew and Rupert will not last because of their out-front leadership styles.

You are 110% correct about Jenna. I'm still stunned over that one.

Wasnt Osten ready to quit on like, the third show? Like, 9 days in, he was ready to go home? What did he think? He was going to Club Med?

I saw a show on...I want to say Bravo, but Im not sure. It was about the reality of reality tv. They talked to Mark Burnette, the creator of Survivor, and he was talking about Probst. Apparently Probst does see the video thats shot (Im assuming before tribal council, which must be how he knows whats going on within the tribes) Burnette said that no one understands the psychological aspect of Survivor better than Jeff Probst. But I think he was wrong when he said no one in the history of Survivor has quit. I remember this really really tall guy named Mitchell on one of the earlier shows (he later turned up as a 'date' for Anna Nicole Smith on her 'reality' show  ) telling his tribe that he was exhausted and sick and he felt they should vote him out...and they did! I remember this becuase the next day my office mate and I were wondering how on earth he ever got ON Survivor in the first place

And I do have to agree...Survivor isnt about second chances. Its about surviving, hence the name. Those voted off were voted off for a reason. Are they going to give Shawn, Osten and those subsequently voted off AFTER this twist, a second chance???

Scott...I have to agree that Andrew and Rupert wont win. They tend to ride the leader about to the merge, then they walk the plank. I dont know why, but I feel so bad for Andrew. He single handedly won immunity for his tribe last week. Something about him (maybe that poor pathetic Armani suit hes wearing) just makes me root for him! I liked Rupert from the first show (when he 'plundered' the other teams shoes  ) Hes colorful, he is a hard worker, and hes strong...but hes not going to win.

Jenna...oohhh...that name is like fingernails on a chalk board. Its something I dont think I will ever undersand

There is someone named "Tijuana"???? What kind of name is that? She/he could have been easily named "Chihuahua" then! :hammer:

After re-reading my last post, it didn't sound like I wanted it to sound. Her skin color doesn't matter, she's attractive no matter what to me. Didn't mean to offend anyone; if I did, I apologize.

Don´t worry Scott, I don´t think it came across offensive at all! :)
