Surrey Bike for wedding parties at Boardwalk?

Yesterday while at the Boardwalk resort, I watched a newly-wed couple dressed as Beauty and the Beast (as the Prince in the post-Beast phase) having pictures taken. As I watched the photographer lead them to the Pavilion on the walkway to Epcot, I felt so sorry for the bride in high heels as she attempted to navigate the spaces between the planks on the boardwalk. Within the past two months, I've witnessed two other brides doing the same thing.
Wouldn't it be nice for Disney to come up with a customized surrey bike or other mode of transportation that the bride and groom could use for transportation while on the boardwalk?

I think the regular surrey bikes do just fine.

I also think that there's no rule that a bride has to wear heels for her wedding. A bride's attire should be indicative of her own style. If she isn't comfortable walking in heels, she should probably stick to flats or sandals. It's central Florida, after all. Sandals will do.

Awesome photo! I'm assuming it was staged or did the bride and groom take it for a spin? Anyways, I was thinking more of something chauffeur-driven.
I agree that bride's do have a choice of shoes, however, while they are trying to find a shoe that goes well with the dress, many don't think about the prospect of trying to avoid the holes between the boards while out on the boardwalk. It would be very easy for a spike heel to get caught and the wearer possibly fall or be otherwise inured. I was curious to find out if any one that planned Disney weddings had even considered offering a vehicle for use at this site.

I happen to think that it's a mistake for anyone to be married in heels if they aren't a staple of the bride's usual wardrobe. I wore flats for mine. It may be a wedding, but any day in WDW is still a lot of walking. In fact, my matron of honor walked down the aisle barefoot because she made the error of choosing shoes outside her usual comfort zone for my wedding.

There are lots of photos online of Disney brides riding surrey bikes at the Boardwalk. There are also vintage car rentals available to couples getting married at Sea Breese Point.

They have the option to purchase a variety of transportation vehicles including antique cars and Cinderellas coach to get them to the ceremony on the boardwalk. What you are likely seeing is the couple post ceremony which is when they're taking photos along the Boardwalk. Any couple that gets married at any of the BW/BC/YC venues takes photos around the area after the ceremony has been completed. This would cause them to have to walk along the BW in whatever footwear they've decided to wear on their special day. Having a chauffeur would be impractical at best during this scenario as the photographer often takes pictures and at large number of spots along the walk to the venue (if within walking distance) or the limo (if it's to far to walk)
