Surprised with a trip to Disney... in 36 days!!!

My husband is the most amazing husband ever!

I'm a graduate student in my last semester of school, and I just took my comprehensive exams two weeks ago. Today, I found out that I got an unconditional pass, and get to graduate!! wahoo!! So tonight, my husband surprised me by telling me that he has booked us a trip to WDW leaving the day after I finish classes!!!

So first I'm like "OMG are you serious? this is amazing! I can't breathe! I'm so excited!!"

And then I was like, "Wait. Where are we staying? Did you get a discount when you booked? what about ADRs?!!!"

But luckily, he booked a 30% room discount, AND made us ADRs at Le Cellier, Via Napoli, and Kona Cafe!!

Needless to say, I'm SOOOO EXCITED!! And blessed beyond belief!!!:sohappy:

Just wanted to share with the people I know would appreciate this the most!

Thanks!! He definitely is a keeper!

Now I just have to try to concentrate on the last few weeks of school and not get distracted planning the trip! :ROFLOL:

How awesome for you! On graduating AND the surprise trip planned by your husband! Just go with the flow. He's laid the groundwork...made the important decisions...now you can just go and let life happen while you're there! Good for you! Let him take care of the details...obviously, he wants to treat you. :)

Thanks for the advice! I have to work really hard to go with the flow, but I am going to try to on this trip!

THanks so much for your congrats! I'm graduating from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. We actually lived in Nola for a few years before we moved up here for me to go to grad school! We miss it terribly!!

We are staying at Pop Century for 7 nights! It's actually the only resort we've stayed at, but we like it! Hopefully once I'm not a student anymore we can try out some other resorts!

Yep! Nothing could've made me happier. Lots of my classmates are celebrating by buying expensive cars, or going on beach trips... what do I want? to see the mouse!

Congrats to you from a fellow family from (way down south) Louisiana.... enjoy yourself and reward yourself for your hard work and achievements (and enjoy the person who helped you get there!) We have a longer wait for our trip (may 27th).....:sohappy:

Haha, i do always tell my husband that I think he could make money by teaching "How to be an awesome husband" seminars! He's too good!

Thank you! Yep, he deserves the trip as much as I do for working to put my through my masters and providing MUCH needed emotional support all the way through!!! Your trip will be here in no time too! Hope its a great one :)
