Sounds like a hoot

My post married self goes to bed at like 11pm when I’m in Vegas. It’s all downhill after dinner.
I’m the same way and I’m not married and still in my 20s.

Vegas is exhausting, particularly if you’re ripping and running from late morning/early afternoon until night, non-stop. Even when you’re out for half the day, the adrenaline alone can make you crash early sometimes.

We’ve been to restaurants each of the last three weekends and even saw Raya and the Last Dragon in the theater with the boys! So happy to be coming out of this.
Though we are apparently 80% protected given we've had our first shot, we're still waiting until around May 1 to go theater as that will be roughly 2 weeks following second shot. I'm so looking to sitting in a theater again.

Pretty much for me as well though if I find myself at Frankies Tiki Room or Golden Tiki, I tend to stay out a little later. Our last trip was October 2020 and Vegas was a cluster. Our hotel (luxor) seemed to be gang central (guy carrying bulletproof vest across the casino floor) and there really was zero Vegas vibe given how much was shut down. I definitely wanted to be in bed by 11pm.

I agree these days I get more out of the day in Vegas. Nice breakfasts and dinners. (Don’t really do lunch in Vegas, still full from breakfast and want to be nice and hungry for dinner - the main event). Some time by the pool, some time watching the game at the sports book after I put my bet in.

I can do 2 nights, maybe 3 and I'm completely over Vegas. I'm happy sitting by the pool, relaxing and paying for overpriced drinks but everything else kinda wears me out.

I do the exact same thing with my meals. Rarely ever do I eat lunch in Vegas, if not never. And if I do eat something in the afternoon, I’m going through a drive-thru. Nothing special at all.

AGREED. I can barely do three. Two days are my limit, pretty much. I’m always out late at night with my friends and family when I go and I’m always extremely tired. Sometimes I come home sick as well. There’s only so much gambling, drinking, dancing, walking around the Strip, etc. that I can do before I’m over the whole thing.

I like going to Vegas to eat though.
