Surprise experience for my parents

My parent's anniversary is a week before we go to Disney and I thought it might be a nice anniversary gift if my siblings and I chip in some money and book a special experience for my parents to enjoy together while on our trip. I don't want to do a meal since we have all of ours booked. I was thinking maybe one of the tours, but it cant be something with a lot of extra walking since my Mom has a bad knee and will most likely be spending some time in a wheelchair. Does anyone have any suggestions of any good tours they might enjoy or other magical experiences we can book for them? FYI: My parents are both in their 60's and they are not the types who would be interested in anything like couples massages.

Have you considered a Wishes or Illuminations Cruise. I haven't done one but understand they are very nice. There are several options as far as number of people, type of boat, food, beverages etc. I believe they will even decorate the boat for birthdays. You can make reservations and ask questions at 407-WDW-PLAY.

You can also rent boats at the Poly and drive around the lake! Really relaxing and really fun! My friend worked there and gave us a ride around one day (and even let me drive!) And it was easily my favorite part of our trip. We took snacks, listened to music, and got to see parts of Disney I'd have never known about. :)

Yes... The Wishes cruise is wonderful. I arranged one for our anniversary a few years ago. You get an entirely different perspective watching the show from Bay Lake. Our boat pilot was very entertaining and we had a blast. You can get the boat decked out in Anniversary balloons/ decorations and have a small Anniversary cake made for the occasion.
