Superstar Limo Petition

All great art is misunderstood in its time. At the time, Superstar Limo was vastly under appreciated and misunderstood by the DCA guests.

But almost 20 years of reflection have let us realize how wrong we were...

Should have changed your avatar to a clown before you wrote that

Right, and we’re discussing in it now.

The jibjab forum is over there...

I don't understand how a DCA ride is not allowed to be discussed in DLR/DCA forum.

Superstar Limo is more than just a ride. More than just an attraction. I'd even say it's bigger than the Disney name.

It's an immersive, transcendent experience that utilized the best of technology and themed design to create a world that both parallels, and improves upon our own. A world where for just a few minutes, everyone can be a star.

For that reason, discussing it in the Disneyland subforum is almost disrespectful to Super Star Limo.... it deserves it's own forum. It's own site. It's own exhibit in the Disney Gallery. It should be what's replacing Lincoln right now, now Dumbo.

Something funny is that my family visited the park on its year of opening in summer 2001 and we had no idea this ride even existed. We even did (what we thought were) all the attractions in the park (and we were gone by 2 or 3pm).

It was that hidden. Just goes to show you how poorly placed the ride is. I didn't know it existed until reading about it years later. I wonder how many other people simply did not know the ride existed.

Even now with Monster's Inc, unless you stumble into that back area of the left side of Hollywood Land, you won't know the ride is there. From the main walkway they could have a sign saying "Monsters Inc This Way" or something, yet they just let that ride sit in a random corner.

This had me cracking up way too much. Amazing.
My family all thought Monster's inc was new ride when we went three years ago, that's how well hidden it is.

I don't think you realize April Fools is still a month away.

I've ridden both of these before, once each. RR was OK but SL is something I'm still trying to forget I experienced. Oddly when I went back to the parks on my second visits they were both already shut down.
