Super Soap Weekend

Question...has anyone been to Super Soap Weekend? I may be able to stay an extra couple of days - is it worth it? Thanks! :wave:

I went last year. If you are a big fan of ABC soaps, you'll enjoy it. You HAVE to get there early to get a fastpass for some personal time with a star, like a photo & autograph. They usually post a map and info on the abc website. Only certain stars are there on certain days. They are handing out autographed photos near each of the stands for people that did not get a fastpass. They have a large stage in front of thet GMR and the stars go there to be interviewed throughout the day. Be aware there are ALOT of people that are in front and center for this. At 3:00 they have a soap star motorcade. It is VERY crowded. I am not a big soap fan, but my mother-in-law is. She enjoyed it, the rest of us did not. Whatever your decision is, have a wonderful time....we'll be there at the same time, although we are doing MGM on Monday! Have fun!

Only go if you are a super die hard soap fan. It is crowded and some people get down right nasty. Cutting in front of people who have waited hours to have a front row view at a show, and they just don't care. Unless it is a life or death decision for you to see these soap stars, go to another park that day.

If your not into the whole soap thing then stay away from the Studios that Saturday, the place is packed and you can't really move during the parades and forget the rides. That's what the family and I will be doing.
