Just got back from WDW today. We were at Splash Mountain and saw a man flash a red card to get his family into the FastPass line. It was larger than a ticket. Any idea what that was?

Thanks!

It could be the pass you get for doing the scavenger hunt on Tom Sawyer's Island. I have done that before, you can go on either Spash or BTM with no wait. However, I don't remember it being red. Maybe it was VIP pass or something.

If you send a check for about $100,000 to:

Mr. Michael Eisner
P.O. Box 10643
Burbank, CA 30547

I'm sure you too, can get one. ;)

LOL

(No, that's not a real address)

Do a search on it and you'll find a big thread about what it could be. More than likely it was one of the FLIK (??) cards to measure wait times.

Maybe it was one of the kid swap passes? Where if a kid is too smallto go on an attraction, one parent waits with the kid while the other rides, then they switch and the other parent doesn't have to wait in line.

Yeah, that's what I am thinking too.

Did you notice if they turned it in before boarding their log?

I FLIK card wouldn't let you in the FastPass Line. A Child Swap isn't red. It's most likely a Guest with Disability Card or the man was a "high-up" that is allowed to skip lines.

It's not a Super Fastpass or a Child Swap, it's actually a Guest with Disabilities/Guest Assistance Pass according to my friends who worked attractions.

actually the priority pass for "higher ups" as you call them are held by DSA guides and they are purple.

When I was there last year during the fall, my friend and I went to city hall and told them it was his birthday. He got a pin and a card that was good for everyone in the party to skip the line for one ride. I cant remember the color...but it could have been one of those.

Hey, I just got back today from WDW... the cards you are talking about are the for the Veteran's Hero Convention (or something of the sort) - they were staying at the Coronado Springs while we were there. They got in the fast past line for everything - it was really cool that disney did that!

Super FastPass

Great answers everyone. Thanks! It was a card with a red border, larger than an FP or ticket. It looked like card stock, not plastic. It sounds like the disability card, but would it be used in the FP line?

I didn't see if anyone picked it up, but I saw it where the CM collects the FP. The CM didn't take it. It definitely wasn't the wait time card. We got three of them! They all were attached to a string for wearing on the neck, I guess. And it was smaller.

That's cool if it was a Veteran's card. Wish my Dad and I could have got one of those!

Thanks again!

Next December - OKW!

It was most likely this or the temporary Veteran's pass mentioned later in the thread. You recieve them at City Hall. To get there you "go straight out here between these two buildings, over the bridge to the hub in front of the castle, take a left, go all the way down mainstreet and it will be the last building on your right" :)
