I did something stupid. I sent my DH to Walmart told him to not charge too much. $50 later and he got a movie that I said no more of till we pay some on our bills and did he listen to me. NOOOOOO.:brick: :brick: :brick: :brick:

Dave does that to me sometimes too, then I don't know it til the bill comes. I keep telling him that using a credit card when there's already a balance on it is just like taking out a high-interest loan. You really have to decide if you really need it that badly!

I don't know. I just said no more movies in the house. His logic is better to buy a movie for 5 dollars instead of renting it for 6 and then you own it so you can watch it any time you want. My house is full of movies that we have never seen. He doesn't understand that we are running out of space to live.:hammer:
I know sometimes it has to be done. but I am saving for a trip. :zipit: He keeps sayings don't worry about it. It will be okay. I wish I could see what he sees.
That's why we borrow ours from the library!
I need to tell him about that. Our closest library is not is a good neighborhood. At least I don't feel safe there.

Sometimes I think it's hard for people to see that $5 here or there may not seem like much, but it doesn't take long for it to add up.
That is my DH. :zipit: He picked up some milk but didn't get Walmart brand. He got name brand. instead of 4 something a gallon he paid 5 something a gal.:hammer: He said he didn't pay any attention what he picked up.:brick:
Dave used to be that way too. Or if I gave him several coupons to choose from for the best deal, he'd just use them all and we'd end up with 5 gallons of dishwashing detergent. Once I started working for the pastor though, my hours were quite long, so he started doing the grocery shopping and a lot of the cooking. He's learned how to stretch a dollar now!
I just wish I could spend and not feel guilty right now. I look at something I like and I feel like I can't get it. I get soooo depressed.

I know I try to give myself permission to spend once in awhile but I know the more I spend the less I have at Disney. I try to look at it possitive but on a daily basis it is a long hard road. We are doing okay just stressed at times.:lookaroun

I know. DH tells me that all the time. I just told my DD that also this morning. My words are coming back to haunt me.:lol:
Don't let WDW control your happiness. It's great to go there, but not at the expense of your own sanity!
