Summer's End with Magic Friends

Nanette Fabray...I think I always confuse her with Shelley Fabares.

And didn't Shelley Fabares have a song?

"Don't tell me what to do, and don't tell me what to say" or something like that?

Or am I crazy? (don't answer that, Connor!)

I think its bed time. I am tired, plus I need to go to my fathers tomorrow. His birthday and aunt B-itch is in town. (Really that is what she wants to be called. She gets a kick out of it. ) Should have seen us as young kids saying that out in public.
Anyhoo, I need to get over there early before she leaves.

Have a good night everyone.

Nanette was Shelly's aunt.
Shelly was on the old "Donna Reed Show".
She had one hit song "Johnny Angel".

"...how I love him, and he doesn't even know that I exist.."

Oh, good song!

Shelly was on "Coach" too! She's awesome!

So, wait, who sings the don't tell me what to do song? I can Google if no one knows.

Definitely aunt and niece, although Nanette changed the family name a bit to make for easier pronunciation. . .Fabray.
Shelly kept with the proper spelling. . .Fabares.

I think the story went, "You all think I am a real B*tch, why don't you just call me Aunt B....." and it stuck. I forgot to tell George about that when he first met her. She goes, "I'm Dan's Aunt B." George was like  . Now he loves calling her that.

Anyway, I need to go to bed.
