Summer vs Spring/Fall WDW Visits

It all depends on how well you tolerate the conditions...I mow acres during the day in North Texas during August, so I know and love heat. Before Covid, Disney had successfully convinced lots of families to go other times of the year with pricing, but with lots of people cooped up for a year with travel restrictions and health concerns, the attendance patterns are all new.
not sure we know at this point what attendance patterns are all new, its busy now because its crazy every spring break/easter (except 2020 when WDW was closed), for 2021 and beyond I fully expect WDW will return to crowds experienced pre-pandemic but seasonal trends (low/high crowds) will still exist as they largely follow when K-12 kids are in-school/out of school. 50th anniversary events starting October 1st will also increase crowds later this year and into 2022. But still willing to bet that families with school age kids will be less common when schools are in session, compared to July and holiday seasons.

I don’t think we’ve ever gone in July! We frequently go last week of August/first two weeks of September. We live in South Florida, I love the heat - but not so much when I’m walking around WDW. I do not enjoy sweating (and don’t sweat easily) but find myself constantly ducking into a shop or attraction just to get out of the sun rather than leisurely “taking it all in.”

Every trip I have taken to WDW has been in late winter/early spring or fall. Due to having to push out our next trip because of the COVID thing and my daughter's high school schedule, we may be attempting our first summer visit in early July of 2022.
Other than the temperature/weather (which will be alot hotter and wetter than what we've seen before), are there any other differences in being at WDW in the summer than the other seasons? Are crowds still comparable?
We live in an area of North America that gets almost as hot and humid as Florida on a semi-regular basis in the summer (with the odd day here or there where we are hotter than Orlando), so we should be able to handle that with little difficulty.
You are getting into Hurricane season. July tends to be a very rainy month. The earlier the better to try to avoid the hurricanes.

those temps may occur Nov-April, but the best of both worlds (temps and crowds) can be found May/June or September if those are options

Our daughter's school year doesn't end until just before the end of June, so the first possible week we could go would be the first week in July. In the past, we have taken her out of school, and it has been difficult for her to catch up, and with her entering grade 11 this coming school year, our only options would be spring break, summer or Christmas, and we want nothing to do with the insane WDW crowds in March or December.

We find certain fall weeks to be worse than a lot of the summer now. Spring break for us is worse than summer too in terms of crowds. Spring temps can be great or not at all. Same with fall. July-Sept tends to be very rainy.

depending when her school starts back up, mid to late August is better than July. Will be hot humid and have the risk of hurricanes but at least crowds are less than July.
