Yes, most of the family got down there on Sunday, but me and the kids drove down today. Dad had just got back from his golf outing, visited a little bit with us, then proceeded to doze off. :lol: Mom says this is pretty usual for him. He gets up pretty early every day.

Can I just say...I am so sick of moving! I will be so happy when my parents get moved out and I don't have to hear them complaining that all my stuff needs to be picked up and moved over to my house. I hate this all so much. I need a break from moving! I don't even have all my stuff unpacked from when I moved in my house back in Nov! Now I just gotta keep adding more stuff to the pile and it's driving me nuts!!!! :fork: :fork:

I hate this all so much. I need a break from moving! I don't even have all my stuff unpacked from when I moved in my house back in Nov! Dot - was your job one that required schlepping coffee or is that what you now do to pass the time as you are sans job? Hope the wedding is as big a hit as the shower.

The coffee schlepping is my job and I'm leaving it very soon.
I do do a fair share of coffee schlepping at home, as well. . .can't seem to escape the stuff! :dazzle:

On my bedroom floor right now is a large Rubbermaid tub full of Stacey's belongings. I lugged it out of my closet months ago to make room, with the intent that she get it out of my bedroom all together.

Moving is one of the most stressful things you can do!

It is...and what makes it worse is I've got it coming from 2 directions (my mom and my grandma). Plus, it wouldn't be so bad if I'd had a little time to digest moving...I mean it's only been 6 months since I've moved for basically the second time in a year. It's just a lot of moving that's been going on, but once this is done, I know I can rest, but it's just getting to that point.

1 adult 2 day PH (expires in 14 days) = $188
Total $451


1 adult 8 day PH with no exp = $358


or if you buy an 8 day PH = $273
then upgrade to no exp = $125

Steph (mpoppins76): keeps working. Her work has some people out for the next few weeks and she's working mucho hours.

Do they at least compensate you Steph? Or is it one of those caring companies that pays you a salary and then takes advantage of it? Not that I'm bitter about the practices of American corporations from my personal experience

Nah, they compensate. I'm salary, but do get OT (time and 1/2 :sohappy: ) for anything over 40/wk. So the checks are nice. Just getting a little burned out.
