Can't seem to multi-quote from my work computer,

Hi Steph! I assume youwere at the dentist? No fun!

Hi Jenny...give Joel a smooch for me.

Actually the timeing on getting the book is pretty good...we've been so busy with the funeral and I really needed to sleep, which I know I wouldn't have if I had the book earlier.

How's Grant doing? I hope going to the beach helped some.

Yup! Have to have my crown replaced...went in to have the old one taken off. :dazzle:
 I'd pick numb over pain though. Try to rest though.
Yeah, she said once the numbness wears off I'll probably be in quite a bit of pain for the rest of the day. I told her about my pain allergy and she gave me a pretty good pain killer....I'm here late tonight so if I start typing loopy, you'll know it's working.

Is there any way you could leave if the pain gets too bad? It's not good you have to suffer at work too!

He's doing as well as can be expected, thanks. The beach helped keep his mind off things but Monday was back to a very harsh reality. Tuesday was the funeral...he held up pretty well but once we got home and it was just he and I, he broke down a little. I expect at some point he will really have to give in to his emotions.

Just being there for him helps a lot I'm sure Amy!

Probably not. We're really shorthanded right now and I switched shifts w/ someone else to come in later since I had my appointment. I should be ok, though. :king:
I'll try that again...

*redecorates the thread w/ Cubbies stuff*

Hey Amy!  Doing ok. Feel like a monster right now, since 1/2 my face is numb. Just tried to put lipstick on and went COMPLETELY "out of the lines" :o :hammer:

Booo!!! Boo the Cubs! That's alright. They may be up in the standings now...but come August and Sept, they'll be back down where they belong. Last place!

And as for the makeup thing...
That's what you get Cubbie! :lookaroun

It is hard...when Mike's mom passed, he was emotional but controlled it until the first calling hours. Then he broke down. But part of that was because she just didn't look like herself anymore. Just give Grant lots of hugs and a listening ear. He'll talk as soon as he's ready.
