I have several of the movies adapted from Jane Austin. Emma, Persuasion, Sense & Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice (w/ Colin Firth as Darcy). I call it my English movie section in my storage cabinet.

Heh. I liked Emma okay... It's just not one of my favorites.

Marc calls them my stuffy movies. :lookaroun

Did you see me mention 'Miss Potter' the other day? You should check that out, about the life of Beatrix Potter. Beautiful views of the English countryside in that film.

Well, I'm just now getting around to eating supper, so I'll be going. Have a good night!

I don't care for Renee Z much... don't know why. It's just her horsey face and disposition...

Have a good dinner!

I'm like that with Ben Stiller. I don't find him remotely funny. He has not talent and yet people love him. I can't stand him. I have never seen the Meet the Parents movies or any of the others that people say are hilarious. No desire too.

Hey!

I don't care for him either, and neither does Marc. I did like Night at the Museum a bit. But that might have been because the kid was a worse actor than he was. :hurl:

Hi Bunny!
Yeah, one of the managers suggested to the GM that if she gave me a raise, I might stay. So first thing this morning she told me that she was giving me a raise effective immediately, after which I told her I was leaving anyway. :D

It's better than nothing, I guess! And it's always good to be appreciated, even if it is a little late.

Exactly.
I was amazed the last few days at the small campaign being waged in order to have me stay. That felt really nice! BUT. . .if the GM had stuck with my original 3 day a week schedule and given me appropriate raises if she thought I deserved them, who knows what I'd be doing now. I still have a feeling though, that it would have ended the same way. I just couldn't take those hours anymore, so that is that!
