Excellent! Looks like Summer Season 2 of CoP will shortly begin! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

Unfortunately, Timekeeper will not be joining it? :veryconfu I am *very* confused as of why the Timekeeper is also a seasonal attraction. I mean, there are only two animatronics and such...does it really require much power?

Extended hours on the CoP...excellent! I hope this continues through mid-August! *crosses claws*

Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!! We are going in July and my boys have never gotten to go into the CoP. It was never open in all the times we went. I have seen it many times, but to be able to take my boys in it......how thrilling. It'll be like a brand new ride for them. I am sooooo excited to go now. We actually leave for Florida one month from today. Yippppeeee!!!!

Thats too bad, I was really hoping to see it, but I will be gone by then.

Does anyone know when Timekeeper will open for the Summer?

Any Idea when the summer season ends though. I will be there in the last week of August and really want to know if it will be open.

August 18th is the end of the summer season--thus the park hours decrease after that point.

"Its a great big beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of everyday, its a great big beautiful tomorrow, just a day away." :p

I love this ride, even though its a bit outdated, but its a great classic, which exemplifies what Disney was and should be today (an aspect which it has slowly lost...but hey things change I guess). I wish they wouldn't have CoP as a seasonal attraction, so more people can enjoy this attraction.

BTW anyword on a rehab for either CoP or Timekeeper??

I know this is a little far off but, judging by the latest CoP openings (seasonally and on holidays), does it seem like it would be open around Halloween?

Also, if I manage to get on it then do they have a problem with video taping it (without a light :))?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Halloween...probably not. It's not really a busy season. Thanksgiving and Christmas, however, it should be open.

I've never been on CoP before. Last year when we went in mid-Aug. it wasn't open on like a tuesday or wed. We asked the CM what was up with the ride. She explained that the AC wasn't working properly and that it would reopen in the next day or so. We got there a couple days later and it was closed for the summer season. This year we will be there from aug 11-18 and this will be the first ride for us. I will not miss this ride this year!!

Aww, hell!!!!!

I was hoping to get the chance to let my fiancé see CoP for first time while we were there. Oh well, we leave on the 21st...maybe the next time.

Spidey - have no fears. I have 10+ detailed recordings of CoP I'm going to patch together...and I'll be able to post it once I get the video editor to work efficiently.

You'll see it...don't worry. :)
