I'm back! Just sent an e-mail to an old college roommate. She told me she's on Facebook now, and a lot of our mutual college friends are also. Don't know if that'll motivate me to join, but...:shrug:

Honey, honestly, I know men want to feel all important and included but really we are the ones who do have to go through all that. At the risk of sounding like a feminist hurl I just really feel that the woman should get final say on the name. What kills me is that men seem to go through life paying attention to basically NOTHING that is important to woman, all the sudden they care about baby names and bedding patterns.

Awwww I hear ya there. But I really am not sure if anyone is truly ready until they're actually here. Or so I've been told from other mommies.

:sohappy: So exciting! We had found a set at BRU that we liked, but then found an amazing set at a kids furniture store here that was majorly discounted due to "imperfect finish". Meaning the stains didn't come out exactly the same...seriously, who cares?! For 1/2 the price, doesn't bother us! They're delivering it next weekend.

That is great about the deal you got. It seems like every furniture store I checked only carried cribs for special order. They didn't have any samples or even stains that you could look at.

The one we decided on is the Baby Italia Pinehurst. I already have an entire set of furniture in our spare bedroom. Hopefully the crib will match it pretty well.
