And you have two little girls, right? I think Jon mentioned you homeschool. Good for you!
I do not have the temperament to homeschool....I love my kids, but I welcome the break tbh. :o And my youngest has some developmental delays (a form of autism), so having him around neurotypical children his age is really mandatory. Plus he is doing simply awesome at school this year. :)

Yeah, two girls, 7 and almost 2. I like homeschooling.... especially now, our weather gets so nice so early, so we'll take breaks and just go out and play. We'll do school year round, but she really has no idea she's doing school LOL So at least for now, I can still 'trick' her.
Thats great for your youngest. I bet you do lots of "homeschooling" with him even tho you dont know it. LOL

Well, that's true ....and I will be working with him more this summer, so we don't regress...always an issue for me. I noticed even when he misses a day of school for sickness, his handwriting slips. So I've been trying to think up a summer schedule for him that includes fine motor skills on a daily basis.

Thats good. Its always a good thing to keep them busy in the summer... half of the beginning of each new year is re-learning what was taught at the end of the year before!
