Suites at Wilderness Lodge

I'm looking for information on the Deluxe Suite at the Wilderness Lodge. I will be traveling to the world in January and there will be 5 adults. I have stayed at the WL several times but never in a suite. This one sleeps 6 with a separate living and bedroom area and it looks like they do not charge extra for more than 2 adults. I am also hoping for discounts in January. Also we would get concierge service. Has anyone on here stayed in these suites before? Can you give me a little info? Did you like them?

Thanks Rob. I'm really torn between the suite with concierge or getting 2 rooms without. Two rooms would give us 2 bathrooms. Really hoping discounts come out for January though.

We stayed in the junior suites with concierge and will never do it again. The suite we were in was not on the concierge floor. It was at the end of two very long hallways. My mom, who at the time, couldn't walk more than five feet without being out of breath had to stop several times before getting to the room. That was one of the reasons we booked it, we thought we would be on the top floor near everything. It was a hike from the elevators to our room.

We stayed in the Suite/ Deluxe Room in December 2008 and enjoyed it. It was great having the extra room. There are two beds in the bedroom and a pullout sofa in the living room. I agree with the PP about the long walk, ours was at the very end of the resort also, but I think they are at the previous "corner" of the hallway also, I would definitely recommend requesting one of those. However, being at the back of the resort gave us a very quiet room and a perfect view of the nightly water parade. I'm not sure how often discounts come out on these rooms, I suspect not very often, but hope I'm wrong about that b/c we'd love to stay in one again!
