Suite vs 2 rooms

I'm planning a trip this December with my wife, mom, and 3 kids. In looking at the AOA resort, 2 rooms in Little Mermaid would cost about $500 less than one of the suites there. Is there really that much of an advantage to the suites that would justify the extra $500???

Disney has to say that. I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who has kids that wanted connecting rooms that didn't get them.

People give up too easily.:)

Raises hand. We have had it happen. And were told in no uncertain terms there were just none available at the time. And I'm pretty sure it states that connecting rooms are not guaranteed if you make your reservations on line.

Now we have had connecting rooms many times at WDW. And only been unable to get them one time. So if you want them you will probably get them. But there is a small chance you won't. Disney can't make room set ups appear that are not available, no matter how hard you or they try.

I understand where you are coming from. We don't go on a WDW vacation to cook. In fact, the vacation is a break from having to cook at home every day. The little kitchenette is just wasted space for us. As a result, we always prefer 2 connecting rooms at a Moderate Resort, which have more square footage and somethings cost less that a suite at a Value Resort. (We've not had too much success booking a Value Resort suite with a room discount but have had no problem finding discounts for standard Moderate Resort rooms.)

Exactly, you hit the nail in all respects. We feel the same about the 2 rooms vs one suite choice.
