I apologize if this is a repeat question, but does anyone know how you can stay overnight in the suite in Cinderella's castle? Do you have to be invited, or can you make a reservation? I'm sure it is a zillion dollars, but I am still curious. :king:

That's too bad. I guess you need to be Samantha Brown to stay there! I'd be curious to hear from anyone who actually has been inside.

It's currently only available to the public through contests or promotions. Sometimes you'll hear of a celebrity staying there. I believe Make A Wish, and other such charities also use it from time to time.

There were 2 contests that recently went on to win a night in the castle suite. One was open to Annual Passholders, and a friend of mine entered but didn't win. The other was just a public contest from Disney, where you could enter online once a day & text an entry once a day for about a month. I know a lot of people here did that daily, but who knows who ended up winning. Keep your eyes open for contests. MouseSavers has a great list of them updated - that's what I use. :)

I have a 20 minute video I took of the whole experience I think I'm gonna upload clips of from when I went for the D23 Magic and Merriment experience. I was surprised by how small it is, considering all I've heard about the DLR one above Pirates being so big.

That said it is beautiful. I really loved how it looked, felt, the elevator ride, the foyer you walk into first. It was a really nice time - I'll do my best to get the video up soon.

I think that has something to do with the fact that the one in DLR was meant to be there. The space was set aside, and then later used for the Disney Gallery. The one in WDW was kinda shoehorned in. But think about it. It's Cinderella's castle for crying out loud. They did the best with what they had. No more phone switchroom. Still wish it was possible to get up in there occasionally to see the suite.

Me too (sigh). I would also like to see Walt's apartment in the firehouse in DL. At least we can see the light they keep lit for Walt in the window.
