Suggestions for Unbiased Podcasts?

I did a search on the forums and while there are podcast topics, I wanted something more specific.

Are there any unbiased podcasts that you like to listen to or would suggest? When I say unbiased I assume the podcasters LOVE Disney World or else why make a podcast about it, rather I mean someone or some people not afraid to call out things that aren't right or aren't working, aren't afraid to say the food is bad here, or that the Wal-Marting of some aspects of Disney is getting tiresome.

Obviously, I don't want something 100% negative but on the same side of that coin I don't want something 100% positive either, or a podcast where the host is clearly getting benefits for being overly positive and non-critical.

I listen to WDW Today and DFB Podcast currently. I loved the old Netcot podcast, RIP. There are some others I used to listen to but have since dropped for the above stated reasons.

Any suggestions for a real Disney podcast fix?

The Season Pass Podcast. Not Disney specific, but they get the best interviews with people who work in themed entertainment. They have a wide variety of people who they invite to partake which provides for great, informed discussions on the industry of which Walt Disney World is a member.

I love InsideTheMagic podcast. The last podcast featuring this guy who was a cast member sharing his experience working there.. very interesting stuff.

Now this is a news based podcast so it's about news delivery more than anything. They also have some quick news about other parks too.

The one with Len Testa on it. I think it's called WDW Today.

I didn't hear about the Netcot podcast until it was no longer being done, which is a shame, because it was very good. I listened to old ones and it might have been my favorite. Sorry it's gone.

The Lou Mongello one is just too slick for me and my mind starts wandering. It's really good and informative, though.

Inside the Magic is easier for me to pay attention to, but I find my mind wandering a little on this one, too. The musical background is really nice and I like it...it's a nice Disney touch!...but it is kind of distracting. He talks pretty fast, too. But it's good and informative.

The Dis Unplugged was good a long time ago, but turned into them pushing stuff (their cruises, trips, charities, etc.) and I gave up on that. All the podcasts advertise their travel agencies and Internet sites, but this was ridiculous.

And those are all the ones I tried. I really just listen to the Len Testa one. It's the best.

Besides my own, I also listen to:
Inside the Magic - News Focus, unbiased and will acknowledge when he gets freebies from Disney
WDW Today - Discussion based, informative, they tend to give Disney the benefit of the doubt but will critique them
Magical Definition - News/Rumor based, not just Disney parks. Jim Hill is a good source of information and stories
Communicore Weekly - History based, short and well done
WDW Kingdomcast - Vulgar, but unbiased. I'm friends with these guys and really enjoy their show
WDW Dis-Cussion - Discussion based, still trying to find their niche but they're definitely improving
WDW Radio Show - Mongello's show, incredibly informative but he also did 45 minutes on how great the ABC Commissary is last month so I don't really trust his opinions anymore
Unofficial Guide Disney Dish - Len Testa and Jim Hill talk about the parks, this is become my new favorite

Yeah ... I've gave up on Mongello a while ago when he gave a positive review to that Stitch show in Tomorrowland which was a disaster.

I'm gonna check out your show and Kingdomcast ... sounds like they might be good.

I was in the ABC Commissary last month. The ceiling had a bunch of water spots and some really black stuff that looked like mold. I wouldn't have noticed it, but I saw a woman standing and looking up with a disgusted look on her face, so I looked, too. Ew. It was, in my best 80s throwback, totally gross.

That's a great list. I hadn't heard of some and will check them out. Thanks!

I like WDW radio show too, but you are right Lou also has postive opinions. I can't really remember him having any really negative opinions of the parks.

is my favorite. Several regulars all with different views and opinions. Sometimes they can run pretty long, but usually it's informative and engaging.

BetaMouse was really good too. I say was because it's now canceled but last time I checked they are all still up. Pretty tech-y but still fun.

Personally cannot stand Lou Mongello, I've tried to listen to him a couple times and I just can't handle him.

WDW Today. Funny, informative, and not too long. Plus they often make fun of Mongello.

Speaking of Mongello, I find him and his show insufferable. Too long, too drawn out, and too much pixie dust.

Yea I thought I was being pretty specific when I asked for "unbiased" podcasts. I'm surprised so many people have suggested WDW Radio ... personally that is the most biased podcast.

It's hard without stone cold facts to say without a doubt that his "positivity" is bought and paid for but … the high level of access he has, the guests he gets, and the special privileges he has (including being able to conduct his own tours for profit on Disney property) combined with his zero criticism, everything’s amazing, this is perfect attitude towards the entirety of the parks … well … that is highly suspicious and it got very tiring to listen to.

I'd have to say WEDway Radio for Disney history discussion and their sister show WEDway NOW for news related discussion. Very knowledgeable hosts and a lot of work is put into the production quality of each episode.

I'm a fan of the DisUnplugged (they are the one who run the DisBoards). I love the whole roundtable format, as it really keeps things moving. And although they do push some things they are financially tied to, they still give honest opinions on everything Disney.
