Suggestions for Table service for solo

Does anyone have any experience with TS dining as a solo? If so, what restaurants would you recommend?

I've had very pleasant experiences every time I've eaten solo. Two stand-outs were a dinner at Le Cellier and a lunch at Rose & Crown [a leisurely after-lunch Blue Label while sitting at the patio edge overlooking the water made it even better].
