Hello! My family and I are fast approaching our time for making Dining Reservations. We have been to Disney the last 6 years and have eaten at the same places every time. This year I wanted to try at least 1 or 2 new places, but we are all very picky eaters. I was hoping I could get some suggestions. Right now we have the following places picked but I need 2 more.

We have chosen the following
Biergarten - Lunch/Dinner - This would be a new one for us
Hollywood n Vine - Dinner - Eaten here before
Be Our Guest - Dinner - Eaten here before
Tusker House - Breakfast - Eaten here before
Teppon Edu - Dinner - Eaten here before
Akershus - Breakfast - Eaten here before

Thank you

The food at Sci-fi Café and 50's Prime Time Café is mostly good, not great, offerings, but the atmosphere at both is really fun. Lots of great places at Disney Springs if you're ok with not having dinner in the parks.

Hard to advise because we don't know where you've eaten on prior trips or what your likes/dislikes are. You can visit sites that list menu items that may help you make better decisions based on descriptions of meals and they do have guest reviews. Another sits that is wonderful is www.disneyfoodblog.com.
They have great descriptions, reviews, pics, and feature upcoming items as Disney makes changes.
A few of my favorites.... Liberty Tree Tavern, Yak & Yeti, Sanna, La Hacienda de San Angel, Sci-Fi, 50s Prime Time. I could list many others, there aren't many on Disney property that we really dislike enough to refuse eating there.

Biergarten is a very lively and unique place to eat - good choice! And I would say all your other choices are actually quite 'daring' if you classify yourselves as 'picky eaters'. :p

Recommendations depend on where in WDW you'll be, obviously, but I'll make a few for each park...
MK: Skipper Canteen, Plaza Restaurant
EP: Garden Grill, Coral Reef
HS: 50's Prime Time, Sci-Fi Dine-In
AK: would go to AKL and eat at Boma or Sanaa ;)

Pretty much the places I listed other than Biergarten. The only other place we have eaten is Cinderella Castle and the hubby and I tried Liberty Tree last year but I heard they changed the menu for lunch and you no longer get to choose and it's more like the dinner menu now. As for likes and dislikes, I'm not a big fan of seafood but the rest of the family will eat most seafood. Hubby's favorite is Steak and Pizza :)

Thank you i'll check out the other site

Thank you, I would love to try Garden Grill, every year I get out voted on that place. I'm the only one who wants Biergarten so I have a feeling i'll be the only one who likes it :)

Have you thought of eating outside of the parks? Some of our favorite restaurants are at the resorts. We really enjoyed Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge, and Kona Café at the Polynesian. We have also eaten at the Wave in the Contemporary. All of these are short rides from Magic Kingdom. We also like Boma at the Animal Kingdom, it is a buffet so they have a variety of foods for the less adventurous :) Our children love the Sci-Fi at Hollywood Studios, they have great burgers and shakes! We have also enjoyed Raglan Road at Disney Springs, they have an extensive menu. Our Epcot favorites are Chefs de France, and Rose and Crown. Enjoy your trip!!

Ohana! It's definitely worth the trip to Poly! The whole family loved it! It was easily our favorite dinner of the trip. We don't like to leave the parks but we make an exception for this one :)

Ohana is a must do every year for us. They serve you all you want to eat steak, chicken and shrimp. Its all separate and you can have it all or skip whatever you personally don't care for. But I enjoy the other items much more than the meat. They have delicious noodles. I always look forward to the salad there. The bread is great. They also give you cooked veggies, chicken wings, steamed dumplings. Dessert is a really good bread pudding. I was surprized how much I liked it as I am not usually really into bread pudding.

We had breakfast (more like brunch) at Boma last year and I can't imagine anyone leaving there without finding plates full of food they like. They had a lot of variety. Everything was really good to. Actually if you have picky eaters, maybe doing more breakfasts is a good idea. Breakfast foods are usually less adventurous at most locations then the other menu items. What I usually do when we want to try breakfast somewhere is book one of the latest breakfasts available. Then its more like brunch or even lunch.

As others have said, Garden Grill is another great place if you have picky eaters. Its very "homestyle" type foods...mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, etc.

Although we were not very impressed with Crystal Palace for dinner, the breakfast was wonderful. We did the brunch time thing there. THey had some unique items that other places don't offer.

Last year we really liked 50's Prime TIme. I believe its a must do every year for us. My whole family absolutely loved it....(with 8 children thats not always easy to acheive). It is like a nice Sunday dinner at Grandma's. Classic family type items but done wonderfully. My children loved they could get a milkshake on the dining plan.

Not sure what ages of kids you have but last year we also tried TRex. They have a pretty large menu and I am sure everyone could find something to eat there. We went mostly because my one son is very fascinated with Dinosaurs. He is 8 and really enjoyed it. My younger children also loved the whole atmosphere. The food was decent..nothing amazing...but like I said if you have children that are into dinosaurs its fun for them. Rainforest is along a similiar line but animals instead of dinosaurs. Again, just a fun place for kids to go.

I think Chef MIckeys is somewhere everyone should do at least once. Its just sort of a Disney Classic.
