We just took advantage of the flex pay and received out PAPs. My daughter and I can go to disney and universal for just 3 days this june. Any suggestions of what to seee and do is greatly appreciated. Am I crazy for thinking of going to a new park system with just me and her. Disney we know like the back of our hand but Universal seems intimidating for some reason.

Depending on your daughter's age, if she is 7 and under Suess Landing is fun, E.T., Jimmy Neutron (if she isn't afraid of moving vehicles), Shrek 4-D (if she isn't afraid of the dark or loud noises). But whatever you do, don't push yourself. Have a great great time and stroll around.

We are going back again this June, last year was our first time at Universal with my son who was 6-1/2. We too know Disney after 5 visits so this was a little treat in a way.

Well is she tall enough to do the rides?

If so then you will be hitting everything in sight, but if not Suess Landing, ET, Jimmy Neutron, Shrek 4-D, Dudely Do-Rights Ripsaw Falls, Popeye and Blutos Bilge Rat Barges, The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad, Poseidons Fury, Storm Force Accelatron, Jurassic Park Discovery Adventure, Pteranodon Flyers, JAWS, Twister, and Terminator 2:3D, these are all the rides/shows my cousin who is 7 rode while we were there in Jan.

Hope this helped a little if you have any questions just ask!!!!!:D

Thanks guys
She is 5 yrs old and 45 inches so she should be able to do quite a bit. I think because it is our first trip without my husband (has to work) that I am worried about doing something different. How are the crowds in mid-June? We are actually stayng on Disney property so there will be no express pass for staying on property. Any ideas on order of rides etc that we should aim for? I know she will love Shrek and jimmy Neutron.

You might want to get that Universal Fast Pass (Express) feature when buying your tickets. It might cost a little but saves you from waiting in line for hours. Mid-June shouldn't be too bad because most schools are in session (at least here in NYC). Be prepared for massive downpours in the afternoon and the heat. It seems it's going to be a very hot summer judging from it being in the 80's to 90 in NYC alone so far and it's just May.
